Drift #4. Shinjuku: The East Gate

The newest addition to Tokyo Psychogeographic is now online:

Shinjuku: The East Gate.

Shinjuku is still the place I gravitate to when I find myself, Ishmael-like, “having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me.” Ishmael takes to the sea; I board a train for the city.

  1. You can always find something to do in East Shinjuku, as one commenter said, from “the high class, to the low class, to the no class.”

I love the title Big Sushi, Little Fishes. It really sums up the feeling of being an expat teacher in Japan. I’ll link to it on my blog!

  2. Interesting quote actually!

By the way, I have my own blog which focuses on Asian culture and entertainment such as video games and I wonder if it is possible for you to view it and tell me what you think and how to improve my blog in the “About the Writer” page please: http://nynyonlinex.wordpress.com
