(Update: the full text of “3.11” is now available in print as part of the Adventures of a Lifetime anthology, and online on Big Sushi, Little Fishes 2.0 over at medium.com)
I was in suburban Tokyo on March 11th, 2011, in a classroom full of Grade 10 students when the triple whammy of earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear crisis hit northern Japan – and affected to this day the rest of the country. Jack Barker over at Travelmag.co.uk has published my personal essay, re-named “Was It Just Me, or Did Japan Just Move?“
Wonderful essay, thanks.
